Evolution Gaming Unveils Side Bet City

Evolution Gaming has unveiled a new live poker room which allows players to place side bets on poker hands and win or lose without ever having to make a strategic decision of their own. The new room is called Side Bet City, and it has been designed with a 1980’s-style theme in order to transport players back in time – specifically, to the year 1985.

How It Works

Side Bet City is a neon-lit environment and the dealers here wear similarly coloured outfits as they operate the game. Players are able to bet on whether they will win on a 3 Card Hand, a 5 Card Hand or a 7 Card Hand, and there is a fourth betting option called All Lose, which pays out if the player loses all three of those hands.

It should be noted that players are simply betting on the outcome of the hand which is dealt on the table. This means that multiple players are betting on the same set of cards, and not against the dealer or each other. This is also why it is completely unnecessary to make any kind of poker decisions when playing this game – something that makes Side Bet City a satisfying game for anyone, including those who don’t actually have a clue about poker.

For 3 Card Hands, 5 Card Hands and 7 Card Hands, bets are settled according to the strength of winning hands, with the best hand being the Royal Flush. Bets on All Lose are settled at odds of 0.7 to 1.
