There is only room for three symbols in the Multiplier bar, however, so if you get other winning combinations in the meantime, the cherry may well disappear from it.

Mega Rise and Super Mega Rise Chips

Get a Mega Rise chip on the reels and one symbol will be selected at random and its multiplier value will increase, or a symbol in the Rising Multiplier bar will be locked in place until it helps to improve a winning combination. A Golden Mega Rise chip does something similar, but here the multiplier value will increase by a greater amount or the symbol that it locks into place in the Rising Multiplier bar will remain locked for two winning spins.
