Two New Titles from Play’n GO

Two New Titles from Play’n GO

Inferno Joker and 3-Hand Casino Hold’em

The release of any new online casino game is cause for celebration, and most companies are therefore perfectly content to launch them one at a time. This month, however, Play’n GO have deviated from that pattern by announcing the simultaneous release of two brand-new games. The new titles are Inferno Joker, which is an exciting grid slot, and 3-Hand Casino Hold’em, which is one for fans of table-based poker games.

Inferno Joker

Inferno Joker is a gorgeous-looking game which combines the perennial appeal of traditional slot machine symbols with the mischievous vibe of a female trickster character. If you’re familiar with the Harley Quinn character from the Marvel universe then you will have a sense of what we mean, but if not, simply play the game and you’ll soon catch our drift.

This game is simple in format, and the background is also fairly minimalistic, comprising a wash of colour with just a few diagonal lines adding a sense of depth. This works well, because it draws all of the attention to the symbols on the slot reels themselves, and the artwork there is superb. There are five reels and three rows, and the symbols used include cherries, plums, lemons, watermelons, a stack of gold bars, a red 7, a purple Joker and the fire-coloured Inferno Joker, which is a scatter.

Inferno Joker Re-Spins

The big feature of this game is called Inferno Joker Re-Spins, and is activated by getting the Inferno Joker symbol on the third reel. When this happens the joker reel will remain in place and the rest of the reels will spin again. Any purple joker which appears in this stage of the game will be transformed into an Inferno Joker. All Inferno Joker symbols will stick and remaining reels continue to respin until no further jokers make an appearance, at which point your win will be calculated and paid out.

A Great Game for Casual Players

Whilst Inferno Joker should appeal to all slot players on some level, it is ideally suited to casual players who would simply like to launch a game and get straight down to the business of playing (and hopefully winning) with a minimum of fuss.

3-Hand Casino Hold’em

Whilst Inferno Joker is all about the adrenaline rush generated by speed and fiery action, 3-Hand Casino Hold’em is a much more sedate game that should appeal to anyone who fancies sitting down and taking on the dealer at a more thoughtful pace. As you will have guessed from the title, 3-Hand Casino Hold’em allows the player to play up to three hands of Casino Hold’em at once.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the game, Casino Hold’em is inspired by the traditional game of Texas Hold’em Poker, but eliminates the need for any other participants apart from the player and the dealer. The player makes an Ante bet and, if required, an optional AA Bonus side bet. Two cards will then be dealt, face down, to both the player and the dealer, and three cards will be dealt, face up, to the table. The player must then decide, based on the cards that have been dealt, whether to fold his hand and lose his Ante bet, or make a Call bet which is double the size of the original Ante, and continue. If play continues, more rounds will be played, with two more cards being dealt to the table to make five community cards in total.

Other rules to be aware of are that the dealer must get a pair of 4’s or better to qualify to play. If he does not have that, he loses the hand and the player’s Ante bet is paid off, whilst the player’s Call bet is returned. If the dealer’s hand does qualify then the best hand according to standard Texas Hold’em rankings will win. The AA Bonus side bet pays out if the player’s own two cards and the first three community cards help him to achieve a pair of Aces or better.

This is a superbly executed game which will impress anyone who enjoys Casino Hold’em.

Creativity and Innovation

‘We are well-known for our slot prowess, and Inferno Joker is a strong addition to our extensive portfolio,’ said Johan Törnqvist, who is CEO at Play’n GO. ‘With the release of 3-Hand Casino Hold’em we are highlighting, not only the variety of entertainment that we have to offer but also showing that we are bringing the same creativity and innovation that we bring to our slot to our table games as well. We are entering the final throes of 2019, it’s important for us to finish just as strongly as we started and with what we have planned, that’s exactly what we’ll do.’
