Reel Kingdom

One of Canada's newest game providers!

Reel Kingdom is one of the newer providers in the industry. It doesn't have the highest public profile, but it is said to be a company that was founded by a group of industry professionals with over 100 years of experience between them. The company is working in partnership with Pragmatic Play, which has been releasing its games as a Reel Kingdom series.

All of the games that have been released thus far have been big hits in a number of jurisdictions, with Canada being one of them. This looks set to continue, as the company has launched more than a dozen games over the last year or so, and every one of them has been well worth playing. Some of the most notable games from Reel Kingdom, in order of their release, are as follows:

Hot to Burn

This is a five-reel game with five pay lines that looks and plays like one of the very first video slots. It has traditional 'fruit machine' symbols and sound effects and a maximum payout of 1,000 times your bet. In keeping with its traditional format, Hot to Burn has no special feature that can be triggered, but it does have a scatter symbol that will pay when you get three, four or five of them on the reels in any position. If you fancy yourself as a retro-loving minimalist, then you can't go wrong with this game.

Ultra Burn

Reel Kingdom continued its retro theme with Ultra Burn. This is a three-reel slot with five pay lines, and the symbols on the reels include Xs, BARs, and red 7s, as well as cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, and stars. Again, there is no special feature, and sound effects are only slightly more modern than those in Hot to Burn, but that's exactly what retro fans like about it.

Ultra Hold & Spin

This game takes the basic format of Ultra Burn and then ramps it up with a Hold & Spin feature. Money symbols appear on the middle reel only, and when they land, they will have a random value of anything from 1x to 20x the total bet - a value that you'll win instantly. Get three money symbols on the middle reel at the same time, and the Hold & Spin feature will be triggered. You'll get four respins to start with, and any money symbols that appear will reset the respins to four. A diamond symbol appears on the first and third reels and will give you a random payout of anything from 100x to 500x your total bet.

Emerald King

The Emerald King game was the first to leave the 'fruit machine' format behind. This is a five-reel game with 20 pay lines and an Irish theme. Symbols include the playing card ranks of 10, J, Q, K, and A, cherries, grapes, and a leprechaun. A Pot of Gold symbol is a paying wild, and a multiplier can increase as you play, making it possible to land enhanced prizes. Reels can turn green at random, and if all five do that, you'll trigger a Mini Slots feature that will allow you to play up to 15 mini slot machines at the same time.

Return of the Dead

Return of the Dead is an adventure-themed slot set in Egypt. The playing card ranks 10 through A serve as the lower-value symbols, while various Egyptian icons and a modern adventurer character are used as higher-value symbols. A Return of Dead book is both a wild and a scatter, and when you get three or more of them on the reels you'll trigger a Free Spins feature. This will give you 10 free spins with a randomly selected expanding symbol, and you can retrigger the feature with no limit on the number of times a retrigger can occur.

Big Bass Bonanza

Reels don't only belong in slot games. They also play an important role in the sport of fishing, and Big Bass Bonanza combines the two very nicely. The game takes place underwater, and higher-value symbols include a fishing tackle box, a float, a mayfly, and a fishing rod reel. A money symbol is also in play, and this has a random value. Land 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols to get 10, 15, or 20 free spins, respectively, and all wild symbols that appear will collect the value of all money symbols on the reel. Every 4th wild symbol retriggers the feature, and the top prize in this game is 2,100 times your bet.

Cash Elevator

The release of Cash Elevator in 2021 revealed yet another side of Reel Kingdom which will no doubt continue to be explored in future games. This is a five-reel slot set in a gothic-style hotel. The action focuses on the elevator, and the symbols on its reels include the symbols 10, J, Q, K, and A and several old-fashioned items such as luggage, a key, a telephone, and a pocket watch. A multi-level Cash Elevator feature is active as you play, and this allows you to rise up or down floors. As you rise up, lower-value symbols are removed from the reels, and if you get to the 13th floor, you'll be treated to a very nice surprise.

What We Like About Reel Kingdom

Reel Kingdom is a relatively new developer with over a dozen games, but it is already very easy to see a rapid evolution in its releases. It began with a focus on very simple retro-style fruit machine titles and has added layers of additional features over time. The style of presentation has also evolved, and this suggests that Reel Kingdom could eventually explore a great many more themes in the future than it has so far.

Where to Find Reel Kingdom Games Online

Because Reel Kingdom games are being released in partnership with Pragmatic Play, they can usually be played at most of the same casinos that offer Pragmatic's own titles. We would suggest starting with iLucki Casino, Montecryptos Casino or Nomini Casino, and going from there.
